About Me

We are an Army family! Miles was diagnosed with Autism at the age of 6 and he is now 15 years old. Marley is Miles' Autism Service Dog and his best friend. This dynamic duo has been together for 5 years and look forward to many more adventures!

For God has not given us a spirit of fearfulness, but one of power, love and sound judgement.

Meet the Bloggers

Love is patient, Love is kind.
Love does not envy,
is not boastful, is not conceited,
does not act improperly,
is not selfish, is not provoked,
and does not keep a record of wrongs.
Love finds no joy in unrighteousness
but rejoices in the truth.
It bears all things, believes all things,
hopes all things, endures all things.
                                            1 Corinthians 13:4-10

My name is Melissa and this is my husband Jeromy. We met while Jeromy was stationed with the Army in Louisiana and have been married for 20 years. Our life as an Army family has involved several moves but God has blessed us with many friends over a 25 year career.

A year before we received Miles' Autism diagnosis our marriage was falling apart. We found a local church and the Pastor helped us fix our relationship with each other by fixing our relationship with God through Christ.

This is not to say that our road in life has been smooth but it has been made infinitely better by relying on Christ for our hope, strength and guidance. If it wasn't for our faith in Christ we could not be the parents Miles needed us to be, in order to fight the battles we have waged on his behalf.

Jeromy and I are a united front on the battleground of Autism but more importantly we are united together by the faith of our Lord Jesus Christ.

We would like to say THANK YOU to our friends and family that continually lift us up in prayer. Thank you for the continued blessing of your friendship to us and the friendship your children have shown Miles!

It has been a pleasure "meeting" you and we look forward to hearing your story!
